Who this covers
Two kinds of people use LinguaSend. Senders are team members of an organization that signs in to upload videos and send language links. Recipients open a link they were sent. Recipients never create an account and never install anything.
What we collect from senders
- Your name and email address from the sign-in provider you choose (Google or Apple). We use it to identify you inside your organization and to contact you about the service.
- The videos you upload or import, the transcripts and translations produced from them, the voices you choose, and the review decisions your team makes.
- Your statement that you have the right to translate each video, kept with the video.
What we collect from recipients
- When a link is opened we record that the link was reached, the language chosen, and the browser type. When playback is started by a tap we record that too. The organization that sent the link can see this as a delivery receipt.
- We do not ask recipients for a name, an email address, or a phone number.
Who processes it
LinguaSend runs on Vercel and Fly.io (hosting), Supabase (database and file storage), and Upstash (job queue). Transcription, translation, and narration use AI providers — Deepgram and OpenAI (transcription), Anthropic (translation), and ElevenLabs and Microsoft Azure Speech (narration) — which process the audio and text of a video to produce its translated version. These providers act on our instructions and do not use your content to train their models under the terms we use them on. We update this list when a provider changes.
How long we keep it
Videos, translations, and delivery records belong to the organization that created them and stay until that organization deletes them or closes its account. Sign-in records are kept while the account exists. Ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your choices
You can export or delete your organization's content, or ask a question about this policy, by emailing dorrianguy@gmail.com. Recipients who want a delivery record removed can ask the organization that sent the link, or contact us.
